Marilyn Marie Langevin (nee Schneider) passed away peacefully July 10, 1999 at the age of 43 years, following complications from pneumonia after successfully overcoming leukemia and a bone marrow transplant.
Marilyn was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on March 27, 1956 and completed all of her schooling there. Her full time career in the secretarial/administration field followed her Olds College training. She was employed over the years at the Farm Equipment Dealers of Alberta and BC, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Canadian Limousin Association, Consolidated GMP Inc. and The People Equation.
Marilyn was predeceased by her infant brother, Robert Dale and is lovingly survived by her husband, Brian; parents Hector and Vi Schneider; sister, Gerrianne; brother Doug and nephews Josh, Jesse, and D-Jay Schneider. Her mother-in-law, Lil; sisters-in-law, Diane (Chuck), Donna (Claude) and brother-in-law Dave (Mitch); stepchildren, Stephen, Marnie, Amanda, and Adam also survive her as well as numerous nieces and nephews
Marilyn successfully completed the Dale Carnegie Effective Speaking Course and was an avid and active volunteer, worker and friend with both the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede International Agriculture Committee and the Jaycees. Her strong leadership ability was an attribute admired by all . . she always got the job done!
