Hmmmm after all this time I am finally submitting a bio for the Lodge Page.
Guilt rules!! And yet... and yet... after all this time I still don't know what to say. Let me browse everyone else's for a minute; my accounting studies have leached me of all imagination (yes I am an Accountant proud of the accomplishment ashamed of the dullness <G>).
Well, it appears that Mystic wants me to make an attempt after all; this is the week she has chosen to update the Lodge pages and of course now that I am making my effort there is nobody's info to copy available!
I first came online about 2 years ago but only found Powwow and chat rooms several months later. The first room I was in was Thumper, for all of about 5 minutes. Next I headed off to the Dew and was startled by the friendly response. It took me some time to figure out the banter <G> but I was lucky in that the tolerance for newbies that day was high. PHEW! I have also been lucky enough to meet a few who have helped me (not a pooter person) such as Creal with nukers (THANKS CREAL!) and stocker who led me to
Einstein's when the Dew was overrun with nukers and foolishness.
A year and a half later I am now still going to the Dew (ahhhhh, nostalgia). still promising to try my hand at html and a home page (we'll see!), and have met a fair few interesting people from the Dew as the Einstein meeting is a bit far away for me (Canadian here - oh and meeting Redneck and family soon in Niagara Falls, I think I can manage that!). Sorry I can't make Nashville! :(
