Most of you know me as Dreamer and that I am always dreaming of bigger and better things for myself and my friends. Yes My friends, you are most important to me. You are the garden of life and help make the world a better place.
I was born in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. The had to stop on the side of the road. and so when it asks where are you born I have to laugh and say Rt. 62 just over the county line. This exciting day occurred on June 23, 1952 and so yea I'm almost middle age tho consider myself there now. I don't expect to live over 90... heheheh
My real name is Judy and I live in a small town in Ohio just east of the capital called Newark (as we call it here Nerk). We have a lot of historical places here Indian Mounds (Great Circle and Octogan mounds), the Ohio Erie Canal, and Flint Ridge. Arrowheads made from our flint have been found all over America. Currently I am separated hoping soon to be a free woman. I have a soon to be nine year old son, Sam. We don't get to spend a lot of time together but it is good quality time and wish there was time for more. I work for the local newspaper in the composing room which is becoming automated and have been in the business for 19 years. I also work part-time for the Garden Center where I enjoy my roses. and am learning about the furniture business working in a small corporate office. I know you are asking what I do in my spare time. Well, I chat and I chat and have been in PowWow since June of 96, and I admit I am addicted. I am on most nights whether I say much or not. "Lurking does have advantages, you learn a lot". I love to travel when I do that, I spend time in Abilene, TX (where I went to college Abilene Christian University) and by far my favorite is Silverton. CO. It is a very small mining town taken from a picture book. It is located in southwestern corner above Durango, on the Million Dollar Highway (Rocks from Gold mines were used when it was originally built). It is nestled in a small valley just East of Telluride at an altitude of 9,700 ft. and still has many streets that have not been paved. I have lived and been in most states but have yet to explore the northeast. I also love photography and have received numerous 1st place awards and Best of Show at the Hartford Fair; Croton Ohio (biggest little Fair in the world). Soon I hope to have that photo on my homepage. I also do genealogy and have traced families back to early 1600's. This is so long that my provider cut me off. Oh dear. Well now you know a little more of what makes up the Dreamer. Your friend for life! |
