Here's a cobbler that'll tickle you inners...
Fruit Cobbler
Melt one stick of butter in a large baking dish. (Real Butter makes it Better!)
Cut up your fruit (about 4 cups, more or less, for a large cobbler) into the melted butter and add sugar to taste.
I use 1/2 to 1 cup depending on the type of fruit.
While the fruit is heating in a 375 degree oven...mix a batter of 1 cup sugar, 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup buttermilk and 1 teaspoon of almond or vanilla extract.
Pour batter over hot fruit and bake til brown.
This is so quick and easy and unbelievably delicious!
